Contract eXchange Desk™

Contract eXchange Desk (CXD) is a desktop Windows®-based application used to import, create, edit, print and export spot cable advertising proposals and contracts. CXD’s intelligent mapping of networks, zones, and other locally pertinent data enable the reviewing of contracts originating from internal and external sources such as rep firms and pre-buy systems. Revising and exporting contracts to cable traffic & billing systems and agency/rep firm stewardship applications is a simple and straightforward task. CXD also enables users to e-mail contracts to other users for further processing and review.

CXD can be used locally in conjunction with traffic & billing software to ensure up-to-the-minute listings of rep firms, agencies, clients, account executives,

industry codes, networks, and zones. Users may easily create local copies of these lists for remote use.

Affidavit Desk™

eMediaTRADE’s Windows®-based solution for rep firm or soft-interconnect billing  reconciliation is a desktop application called Affidavit Desk. Affidavit Desk may be interfaced to legacy media contract management systems, allowing for the reconciliation of electronic affidavits to the contract as ordered. Affidavit Desk also creates reconciled

invoices in both printed and electronic form. Used in conjunction with Media eXchange Desk, Affidavit Desk may be used to transmit reconciled electronic invoices to the agency or client trading partner, further reducing overall processing time and costs.

FAQ:

What does eMediaTrade do? We’re a document exchange service providing transport, translation, value-mapping, validation and delivery services for the electronic exchange of invoice and contract files.

What kind of electronic documents does eMediaTrade process? Invoices: Cable, Broadcast TV and Radio, Network Orders: Local Cable (NCC XML Standard), Network Cable (TECC Standard 850) and additional document types under development and available upon request.

I’d like to receive invoices electronically. What agency formats does Media Exchange Desk output? Adware, Datatech, Donovan Data Systems, Strata/SBMS, MRP SmartPlus, TVScan, Tapscan Radio, DataTrack, MediaLine, Adtraq, CTV Media, Affidavit Desk™ by eMediaTrade and Spotdata (non-eMediaTrade charges apply). Agency MXD users can also print their invoices to paper or PDF (Adobe’s portable document format). Agencies not using stewardship software or using non-standard stewardship software can save their affidavit data to disk in a delimited file for use with all popular spreadsheet programs.

How can I be sure that the invoice data I receive via MXD will be usable? MXD performs tests and “grades” data as it is being uploaded by the media retailer to ensure that fields required by the AAAA standards are populated and in the correct format. During the document targeting process, additional validations are performed to ensure that the needs of the recipient are met. Many agencies require their values for client, product and estimate code be provided in order to match the invoice to the order for reconciliation. We flag documents with missing data elements and prevent delivery until the originator resolves the problem.

Who do I call if I have a problem with invoices I received? Contact eMediaTrade Client Services at 770-642-7440 or at support@emediatrade.net. Our Media Operations Specialists will assist you in determining the source of the issue and work with you or the originator of the document in order to resolve the matter.

How is eMediaTrade different from other electronic invoicing providers? eMediaTrade does not charge agencies for the setup or basic service of receiving electronic invoices. We provide superior customer service and are committed to an open trading EDI environment and are happy to provide interconnectivity between eMediaTrade and any other 3rd-party hub service provider. eMediaTrade is not a stakeholder in the buy/sell process and will never collate, mine, aggregate or otherwise use your data for reporting or analysis other than to improve our own service to you.

Can anyone else see my invoice data? The data sent to you by the originator is targeted to you by the originator. The data sent by the originator is only seen by the targeted recipient and will never be seen, collated or analyzed by any outside parties or entities with a stake in the buy/sell process.

What is the cost to an advertising agency? There is no charge to receive invoices via eMediaTrade’s basic electronic invoicing product. Information regarding fee-based electronic contract delivery and additional hub services is available upon request. How can I register for electronic invoicing with eMediaTrade? Online at <registration page> or by calling 770-642-7440, 9am-6pm Eastern M-F.
